About Us

276 Art Exchange is a not-for profit venture created through a collaboration with Gallatin County Tourism, the Village of Equality, and local volunteers.  At 276, every single item is hand crafted, created, or written by artisans in Southern Illinois. Through their creativity, our artists keep alive the cultural heritage of the Southern Illinois region. Approximately seventy percent of each sale in 276’s gallery is returned directly to the artist. Through the purchase of these unique works of art, customers help to preserve these crafts, and help to make possible classes to pass these skills on to future generations.
