Downtown Equality welcomes visitors from all over the country.  In addition to the 276 Art Exchange, main street is home to the Ohio River Scenic Byway Visitor Center and The Red Onion restaurant.  Only 12 miles from the Garden of the Gods, there are many great places to explore nearby.

 

Visitor Center

Open April through October, the Ohio River Scenic Byway Visitor Center is staffed by local volunteers that can provide information, directions, maps, and literature on local history. The center also displays a number of historical artifacts.

 

The Red Onion

The Red Onion serves lunch and dinner and is best known for its delicious cooked to perfection steaks, prime rib, 2″ pork chops and home-style cooking.  More information can be found at theredonionequality.com.

 

The Dusty Attic

Located on McHenry Street, the Dusty Attic sells home decor and gifts for all price ranges.  Visit them on Facebook for more information.

 

Timber Ridge Outpost & Cabins
